Sawtooth Named in Top 10 New Products at SEMA 2021 by Hagerty Media
Hagerty Media selected Sawtooth STRETCH for its “How Did No One Think of This Before” award following the 2021 SEMA Show.
Midway, Utah: Sawtooth announced that Sawtooth STRETCH was named among the top new products recognized from the 2021 SEMA Show by Hagerty Media, the automotive publication known for car culture, collector vehicles, industry news, vehicle stories, reviews, and market coverage.
The recognition came after the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where automotive manufacturers, aftermarket brands, builders, inventors, media, and specialty-equipment companies gathered to showcase new products and ideas.
Hagerty Media selected Sawtooth STRETCH for its “How Did No One Think of This Before” award in its SEMA 2021 new-product roundup. The award highlighted Sawtooth’s practical answer to a familiar pickup-owner problem: cargo does not always stay below the bed rails.

Hagerty Media Recognizes Sawtooth STRETCH
Hagerty Media covers automotive stories, reviews, market trends, collector vehicles, trucks, modified vehicles, and enthusiast car culture. Hagerty also publishes Hagerty Media and Hagerty Magazine stories for automotive enthusiasts.
In Hagerty’s SEMA 2021 coverage, writer Matthew Fink recognized Sawtooth STRETCH with the “How Did No One Think of This Before” award.
Of Sawtooth, Fink wrote, “A truck bed cover that stretches and expands, rolls up, repels dust...” and then praised the idea for helping truck owners haul larger loads without the rigidity of a flat cover.
For Sawtooth, the recognition was meaningful because it captured the reason the product was created in the first place. Pickup owners needed a better way to protect and secure cargo that does not always fit neatly below the bed rails.
A New Answer to an Old Pickup Problem
Tonneau covers and truck bed covers are flat systems. They are designed to cover cargo that stays below the bed rails.
