Lifetime Limited Warranty
Sawtooth is proud to offer a lifetime limited warranty, which provides coverage against defective materials or workmanship. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Sawtooth truck bed cover product and we stand by the quality of our products.
If cared for properly, your Sawtooth tonneau should provide you years of service. Please remember, in order to maintain the warranty, appearance, and operation of your new Sawtooth tonneau cover, please follow all installation, care, operation, and maintenance directions included in the Installation and Maintenance Instructions provided with your tonneau cover.
Parts covered by warranty:
Sawtooth offers a limited lifetime warranty against defective materials or workmanship on all aluminum and plastic components. The aluminum frame and the individual parts that secure the tonneau to a truck are protected under warranty for however long the original purchaser owns the product.
The tonneau cover textile (including the J-hook that attaches the cover textile to the aluminum frame) is protected under pro-rata warranty for one year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service, or installation. Any modification, acts of God, normal wear and tear or other causes not arising from defective materials or workmanship is not considered under this warranty. The following are examples of conditions that will void the warranty:
- Punctures that form because of covering sharp or pointy objects.
- Overloading the tonneau on extremely large cargo.
- Improper cleaning of the cover using harsh chemicals. Do not use chemicals like Amor All. Do not use chemicals designed to be used on traditional vinyl tonneaus.
- Improper maintenance of the cover.
Sawtooth reserves the right to determine if all warranty conditions have been met. Upon determination, Sawtooth may require the product to be returned postage prepaid to further inspect the warranty claim. Given that all conditions are met Sawtooth will either repair or replace (at Sawtooth’s determination) the product or the component. In the event a product must be returned, a Return Authorization # must be obtained through our customer service and must be on the written on the parcel for it to be accepted. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty conditions:
Our lifetime limited warranty only covers the advertised use of the tonneau cover. The warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable or improper use, improper maintenance, neglect, loss, improper installation/removal, modifications, acts of God, long-term normal or excessive wear and tear (including fading and discoloration), or other causes not caused by defective materials or workmanship. Use of this product with other installed accessories or attachments nullifies this warranty. Consequential and incidental damages are not covered under this warranty. The warranty is non-transferable, meaning it only applies to the original purchaser of the pickup truck bed cover product.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary, from state to state. Your new Sawtooth tonneau must be registered to make the warranty valid. You can register your unit online here.
Making a warranty claim:
If you need to return your Sawtooth product due to a warranty issue, please fill out our Return/Exchange/Warranty Claim form at the bottom of this page. We will review your case and issue you a Return Product Authorization (RA) number and instructions within 5 days. Transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Collect on delivery (C.O.D.) returns will not be accepted. Upon inspection and confirmation of defective product, merchandise will be repaired or replaced and returned. Transportation costs of returned product are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Returns
In the event you need to return your unopened and unused truck bed cover, you may do so within 30 days of purchase. You are responsible for return shipping costs. Original outbound shipping & handling fees (shipping to you) will not be refunded. Non-defective, unopened, and unused products should be returned in new condition without any evidence of installation. Returned truck bed covers will be inspected and any repair or replacement costs of any damaged items will be subtracted from the return refund. Returns can take up to 10-15 business days to process.
If your ordered a Sawtooth Tonneau through a third-party retailer or distributor, your return should be processed through the same third-party retailer or distributor you made the purchase.
Making a return:
Any return must first be approved and must be accompanied by a Return Product Authorization (RA) number to ensure proper credit. Please contact us by filling out our Return/Exchange/Warranty form at the bottom of this page. We will review your case and issue you a Return Product Authorization (RA) number and instructions within 5 days. Transportation costs of returned product are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Return conditions:
All shipments without prior authorization or without a valid RA number clearly posted on the outside of the box will be refused. Collect on delivery (C.O.D.) returns will not be accepted and a from the above merchandise returns must be pre-approved. Product listings, prices, drawings, weights, sizes, and manufacturing details are subject to change without notice. All sales are considered final. Special order items, custom built items, or bulk purchases cannot be returned.
Fit problem:
If for some reason your truck bed cover doesn’t fit, please contact us at info@sawtootht.com before initiating a return or exchange. This allows us to determine the best solution for your specific issue.
Incorrect product received:
If for any reason we shipped you the wrong product or made a mistake on your order, please contact us at info@sawtootht.com within 10 days of order receipt so we can fix the issue with your order.
Order damaged during shipment:
If your order was damaged in shipment, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@sawtootht.com. Please take pictures of the delivered package and save all packaging material. Do not install any product that has been damaged during shipment.
