Sawtooth Featured on The History Channel and FYI TV
This month, Sawtooth’s STRETCH Tonneau appeared on two major networks during their coverage of the SEMA Launch Pad Competition.
Midway, Utah: Sawtooth’s expandable STRETCH Tonneau made a splash at the SEMA 2021 Show and the hype is still building. This February, the Sawtooth STRETCH was featured on two top television channels: FYI TV and The History Channel.
Both networks were introducing audiences to the buzziest products to come out of the SEMA Launch Pad Competition. Part of the 2021 SEMA Show, the competition’s purpose was to showcase the auto industry’s newest products and technologies. Among a crowd of 181 entrants, Sawtooth presented as one of 15 semi-finalists, and was selected for special coverage by 4WD Magazine.
Sawtooth’s winning product in the Launch Pad was the STRETCH Tonneau: The only truck bed cover that can expand to accommodate large cargo taller than a truck’s bed rails. The STRETCH is the only expandable tonneau on the market. It’s made of a highly flexible textile, 7 times thicker than other soft tonneaus, that can be easily stretched over large loads to secure and protect from weather, dirt, and potential theft.
The History Channel’s streaming and live coverage includes everything from historical documentaries, to reality shows like “Pawn Stars,” to the hugely popular hit “Ancient Aliens.” The History Channel TV schedule recently included a special episode about the SEMA Show.
The FYI Network’s recent episode “All You Need to Know: SEMA” covered the biggest news stories to come out of the 2021 SEMA how. The FYI TV schedule includes lifestyle programming about everything from home renovation to culinary arts.
In addition to being featured on The History Channel and FYI TV, the Sawtooth STRETCH was also recently covered by Hagerty Media and Diesel Tech Magazine.
