4WDrive Magazine Features Sawtooth Tonneau as a Top Product at SEMA 2021
Midway, Utah: 4WDrive Magazine is a top Canadian publication specializing in news about SUVs, trucks, and off-roading. Before this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, 4WDrive writer Perry Mack chose 5 products from the SEMA Launch Pad to feature in their October print issue, including Sawtooth’s STRETCH Tonneau Cover.
Sawtooth was an exhibitor at SEMA 2021 participating in the SEMA Launch Pad Competition, a platform to share the newest products and technologies in the auto industry. Sawtooth was selected from a crowd of 181 entrants and joined 14 other semi-finalists. From that group, only 5 were named as standouts by 4WDrive Magazine.
“We’ve seen dozens and dozens of tonneau covers over the years, but we’ve yet to see one like this,” Mack said, noting the expandable roll up truck bed cover’s innovative design. “We’re constantly loading gear low enough to clear our rolling cover or using our-not-so-handy tarp to cover taller loads.”
The Sawtooth STRETCH Tonneau is the only expandable tonneau cover that can flex and expand to protect gear that sits higher than a truck bed’s rails. Other tonneaus are often rigid, heavy, expensive, and can only protect low-lying cargo. Even other soft roll up tonneau covers go unused when hauling tall items. 4WDrive wasn’t the only publication to take notice of the Sawtooth Tonneau at the SEMA 2021 show. It was also selected for awards by Hagerty Media and Diesel Tech Magazine.
